SmartPeak WLM v7.1 released with reporting, 64-bit and Vista support

The product dynamically controls system resources (CPU, memory and network bandwidth) from the datacenter to the desktop, allowing organizations to prioritize and optimize system resources in line with business objectives.

- 64-bit support
The latest release now supports Windows 2003 and XP x64 editions.
- Vista ready
SmartPeak WLM 7.1 has been developed to be compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista. SmartPeak WLM improves the responsiveness of applications running Vista, ensuring that end users experience the benefits of the powerful user interface with optimized performance.
- Enterprise Management
The all new Management Center provides a system for managing and deploying SmartPeak software to computers on the corporate network, and includes mechanisms for centralized alert and event monitoring, and policy configuration. Designed using proven Microsoft Web Services, the Management Center offers greatly improved scalability in large deployments. All data transfer and communication can be managed across HTTPS or HTTP, providing secure web-based communications where necessary. Tight integration with Microsoft Active Directory allows authentication of all managed systems before communications are established.
- Management Reporting
SmartPeak WLM’s new reporting module increases visibility of resource usage over time enabling administrators to rapidly produce reports that aid capacity planning and utility based chargeback.
